I have tested also the Rear Fork Booster.  In this case it became clear immediately that the bike was torsionally stiffer.  Something that can be actually measured.  All of the sudden my TVT92 frame that I consider too flexy was as stiff as a late model frame.  It can be explained by the fact that if the rear stays triangles are joined together rigidly then they will contribute to the lateral stiffness of the full frame.

Results:

1) we can measure this.  Next summer we will try to measure it.

2) with things such as the Rear Fork Booster a frame can be made lighter for the same frame lateral stiffness (I say 50 to 100g lighter ).  Vertical flexibility is in principle good.

3) the thru axle of the disk brake bikes might be one of the main reasons why people say that disk brake bikes handle better ???????

If you want to experiment with these FORK BOOSTERs , they need to be custom made according to the thickness of each frame and fork.  Get in touch with my buddy Toshy here:  https://www.facebook.com/starless.cap.by.noah/
